The story.
On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, a small group visited Ananda Vihar Seniors Home & Health Care Centre in an individual capacity to celebrate the festival with its elderly residents.
The residents welcomed the group with warmth, affection and gratitude. Conversations about family, loneliness and the simple value of spending time together left a lasting impression and became the starting point for recurring visits to senior communities.
The experience reinforced a simple idea that continues to guide the Trust: material comfort is important, but it can never replace love, respect, belonging and emotional connection.
